Vladimir Sinkov, M.D.
Vladimir Sinkov, M.D. has been in private practice as an orthopedic spine surgeon since 2010. He joined Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in 2018 after moving to Henderson, NV with his family.
Dr. Sinkov is Fellowship Trained in Adult Spine Surgery. After starting his practice, he further
specialized in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery techniques. He currently trains other spine surgeons all over the United States in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and has also been involved in training Physician Assistants, Orthopedic Technologists, students, and others. Dr. Sinkov has published several studies and articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, surgical textbook chapters, and online publications. He currently serves on the board of editors for the Journal of Orthopedics for Physician Assistants.
Dr. Sinkov was born and raised in Pavlovskii Posad, Russia. He came to The United States at the age of 16 to complete his last year of high school in Olathe, Kansas. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry with Honors from The University of Kansas. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then trained as an orthopedic surgeon at the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and further specialized in spine surgery by completing The Maryland Spine Fellowship in Towson, Maryland with world-renowned Dr. Paul McAfee.
Dr. Sinkov’s current practices include operative and non-operative management of adult degenerative spine problems with emphasis on minimally invasive and motion preserving surgical techniques.
Dr. Sinkov lives in Henderson and enjoys spending time with his family, personal fitness, outdoor activities, and grilling.
